Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the services of DFY Manchester Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Services Provided
DFY Manchester Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and outdoor living spaces. All services are subject to availability and are provided on a project-by-project basis. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided are based on information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project. We will notify you of any significant changes to the estimated cost before proceeding with additional work. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract.
Project Timeline and Scheduling
We provide estimated timelines for project completion based on typical conditions. Actual completion times may vary due to weather, material availability, permit delays, or unforeseen site conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the estimated timeframe and will communicate any delays promptly. You are responsible for ensuring access to the work area during scheduled work times.
Changes and Cancellations
If you wish to make changes to your project after work has begun, we will provide a revised estimate for your approval. Changes may affect the project timeline and final cost. If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less notice or after materials have been ordered may be subject to restocking fees or material costs already incurred.
Warranties and Guarantees
We warrant our workmanship for a period specified in your project contract. This warranty covers defects in our labor and installation but does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, natural disasters, or modifications made by others. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty.
Liability and Insurance
DFY Manchester Masonry carries general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage as required by New Hampshire law. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked or disclosed prior to excavation. You are responsible for ensuring all utilities are marked before work begins. We are not liable for damage to landscaping or property features not directly related to the project scope.
Property Access and Condition
You grant us reasonable access to your property during the project timeline. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during work, but you should remove or protect any valuable items in the work area. You are responsible for securing pets during work hours. We are not responsible for existing damage to your property not caused by our work.
Permits and Compliance
When required, we will obtain necessary permits for masonry work in Manchester and surrounding areas. Permit costs are typically included in your project estimate unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for disclosing any homeowners association rules or deed restrictions that may affect the project. We build all projects to meet or exceed applicable building codes.
Disputes and Resolution
If you have concerns about our work, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and professionally. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be subject to mediation in Manchester, New Hampshire before pursuing legal action. These terms are governed by the laws of New Hampshire.
Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of DFY Manchester Masonry and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. Any testimonials or reviews submitted become our property and may be used in our marketing materials.
